Meshi SMS Messaging

Last updated: September 19, 2026

How users opt in

Users register for Meshi at https://my.meshi.io/login. A user may enter a mobile number to request a one-time verification code. That code authenticates the account and does not enroll the user in recurring messages.

Recurring messages require a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox during registration. The disclosure next to the checkbox states:

I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Meshi, including account notifications, personalized networking or event insights, and replies from my Meshi assistant. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of creating an account or purchasing any goods or services. Terms and Privacy Policy.

One-time verification codes

Verification codes are sent only when the recipient requests one by typing their own mobile number into Meshi. Nobody else can trigger a code, and each request sends exactly one code. Two screens request codes:

  • Signing in. At https://my.meshi.io/login the user enters their mobile number and taps Continue. The field is labeled with the disclosure "We'll send one verification code to this number. This does not enroll you in recurring messages."
  • Verifying an event invitation. An invited attendee opening their personal invitation link enters the mobile number their event organizer has on file and taps Verify. One code is sent to that number. Invitation links are personal, so this screen is not publicly reachable.

A verification code reads: "Your Meshi verification code is: 482913. This code expires in 10 minutes. If you didn't request this, ignore this message." Message and data rates may apply. Frequency: one code per request. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

What Meshi sends

After a user opts in, messages may include:

  • account and service notifications;
  • personalized networking or event insights; and
  • replies from the user's Meshi assistant.

Meshi on RCS (Rich Communication Services)

In addition to SMS, Meshi also delivers the same messages over RCS (Rich Communication Services) where the recipient's carrier and device support it. Meshi's verified RCS agent displays as Meshi.

RCS messages are sent for the same purposes described above: account and service notifications; personalized networking or event insights; and replies from the user's Meshi assistant. The same consent, frequency, "Message and data rates may apply," and HELP / STOP or BAJA opt-out terms described for SMS on this page apply to RCS.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS/RCS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Frequency, help, and opt-out

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop recurring messages, reply STOP or BAJA. For assistance, reply HELP or email support@meshi.io.

Consent is not a condition of creating an account or purchasing any goods or services. For more information, review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

These consent, opt-out, and non-sharing terms apply to recipients regardless of location, including recipients in the United Kingdom and Mexico.
